Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Kit Review (Brow Duo, Brow Gel, Precision Tweezer & Brow Definer)

So last week I promised to share my thoughts on some Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow products. I just want to make it clear, that these products were send to me for review purposes a long with some liquid lipsticks that I’ve reviewed right here. I’ll be reviewing the ABH Brow Kit, which contains a brow powder, brow gel, brow stencils, a dual ended brush and finally a tweezer. I was also send the “Brow Definer” which I’ll also be reviewing. The case these products comes in is gorgeous, and I’ll probably use it to store some other products in in the future. Let’s talk about the brow products:

Brow Powder Duo in “Medium Brown”: Now I have black brow hairs, so by looking at it I wasn’t sure if it would work for me. The powder comes in this small signature compact, which even has a small mirror on the inside. It looked very cool toned, and a bit light, whereas I normally go for something more neutral or a little bit on the warm side. The darker shade of the duo actually worked pretty well for me. This shade made my brows look so natural, which is my favorite kind of look. The lighter shade didn’t work for me, but what made me wonder is why they would add two shades with such a difference in between?  Wouldn’t it be more convenient to add to add two shades that look similar, but with just a small difference shade wise? Any who this powder duo works great for those who has fuller brows, but just need to fill in a few gaps. It won’t work well for thinner brows, I would recommend a brow pencil for those. One thing I’ve noticed is, that there’s a bit of kickback once I dip my brush into it. This also resulted in the powder drizzling a bit underneath my eyes. There are 11 shades available.

Eyebrow Brush 7B: Both ends of this brush work great. The brush side is quite thin and stiff, which makes it easier to create those hair like strokes. The spoolie on the other end is great to comb through your brows, and to distribute the product, so you’ll get that natural looking brow.

Clear Brow Gel: The biggest problem I’ve been having with brow gels is that they don’t keep my hairs in place. I have quite long eyebrow hairs, and gels never seem to hold up for more than an hour or two. This brow gel is one of the few, that does work for me. It goes on smoothly and locks my brows in place. They don’t budge through an entire day. One thing that some might find annoying is, that your eyebrows does feel a bit stiff or tacky, kind of like if you sprayed them with hairspray. I don’t like that feeling, but it’s something that I can deal with, since it does work great for my long brow hairs.

Brow Definer in “Medium Brown”: This pencil has a triangular shape, where I use the edge to create small strokes, and then flip to fill in any gaps. It’s not a super creamy formula, but more on the stiffer side which will make it easier to create those hair like strokes. This pencil is dual ended with the pencil in one end, and a spoolie on the other. It’s not as pigmented, on the first swipe, as some of my other brow pencils I own, but I really like that! This way I’m able to control the amount of pigment. Some days I want a bolder look, and other days just a natural everyday brow. There are 10 shades available.

Precision Tweezer: Let me just put it out there. THE BEST TWEEZER I’VE TRIED! I usually use tweezers from Tweezerman which have been favorite, right up until now. This tweezer is amazing! It has a slanted tip, that makes it easy to pluck the hairs, and grabs each hair by the root. Whether the hair is short or long, it’ll take it right out. I have no complaints about this tweezer.

  1. I really want to get the eyebrow gel as I have long eyebrow hairs as well and nothing seems to hold them in place. Thank you for sharing 💋❤

  2. I have heard a lot about Anastasia’s eyebrow stuff, I really want to try something out from them! When I saw that eyebrow powder, I instantly thought of the NYX eyebrow cake powder, it doesn’t look the same but it is an amazing inexpensive brow product x

  3. Think I need to try the powder , I have the Brow gel but prefer my essence one as the spoolie on ABH is huge.. I have thick dark brows and don’t need lots of work but I think the little work they need would be much easier with a few of these products

    1. The powder was great except for the drizzling! I was happy I could make the shade work, but if I buy it in the future I’ll definitely go for a shade darker or two 🙂 I love the essence spoolie, it’s so easy to use. The ABH one is a bit bulky, but because it’s a clear gel it it can’t mess up by brows… If it was tinted I would’ve prefered a smaller spoolie.
